We say that Kathleen Sebelius CANNOT be the VP! She is not a woman at all. We the POWERFUL PUMAS have dubbed her not woman enough. She did not support nepoti-...I mean feminist hero Hillary Clinton in the primary so she IS NOT A WOMAN. She is some sort of a mix between woman and not woman.

There are several reasons why the race is still close between Barack Obama and John McCain:

1. John McCain is slightly better than a generic Republican. He can credibly claim to have broken with his party a couple of times.

2. John McCain has a better bio than most generic Republicans.

3. Power-crazy Hillary Clinton smeared Barack Obama for months on end during the Democratic primary. She and her husband racebaited him and convinced many voters that he was a corrupt lying scumbag.

It is my guess/experience that PUMAs are basically a combination of the following characteristics:

Most have subtle levels of latant racism. You know the type - these are older paleo-liberals who cloak their racial resentment in their minor role in the civil rights movement. These folks think that black people are ungrateful and whiny. The tell-tale sign of this demographic is when you hear them refer to "the blacks" as a monolithic group.

John McCain announced today that he will ALSO go on a tour abroad. First, he'll take a European tour. Countries he will visit:

Czeckoslovakia
Prussia
Alsace-Lorraine
Yugoslavia
Vichy France
Ottoman Empire
Savoy
Bavaria
Hanover

and of course, don't forget:
Poland

John McCain's economic plan contains one boneheaded/bread and circuses for morons plank that economists think is stupid:

A gas tax holiday.

Apparently when he had economists sign a statement of support for his economic plan, he left out the section with the gas tax holiday:

This morning, the McCain campaign sent out a press release: OVER 300 ECONOMISTS SIGN STATEMENT IN SUPPORT OF JOHN MCCAIN'S ECONOMIC PLAN.

The statement leaves out two big chunks of McCain's economic argument: the gas tax holiday and his promise to balance the budget by the end of his first term -- there's literally nothing in the release that mentions the deficit or national debt.

I DEMAND TIME ON THE DNC CONVENTION FLOOR TO SCREAM ABOUT INADAQUATE BLACK MALES AND SEXIST DONNA BRAZILLE WHO STOLE THE NOMINATION BECAUSE SHE HATES FEMALES. I REPRESENT A GROUP OF PEOPLE WHO HATE THE DEMOCRATIC NOMINEE SO IT IS NATURAL THAT YOU WILL ALLOW ME TO SPEAK AT THE DEMOCRATIC CONVENTION.

I WILL BE GIVEN THIS TIME BECAUSE IT IS TRADITION DURING THE LAST 4 PRESIDENTIAL NOMINATION CONTESTS TO HAVE NEGATIVE SPEECHES ABOUT THE NOMINEE AND ROLL CALL VOTES DURING THE DNC CONVENTION.

Ouch. Even with millions of PUMAs draining the vote away from him in the PUMA heartland of New York, Obama is winning by 31%.
